Project timelines vary based on application complexity, data volume, compliance requirements, and team readiness. A typical enterprise cloud migration follows this pattern: 2–4 weeks for assessment and architecture design, 8–16 weeks for infrastructure buildout and application migration in waves, and 4–8 weeks for optimization and handoff. We use a phased approach starting with non-critical workloads before migrating mission-critical systems.

We design for your specific Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) requirements. For high availability, we leverage multi-availability zone deployments with automatic failover, load balancing, and automated health checks with self-healing. For DR, we implement strategies ranging from backup-and-restore to pilot light, warm standby, or active-active multi-region architectures. All infrastructure is defined in code for rapid recreation.

We implement compliance controls as infrastructure code from the beginning. For SOC 2, we establish comprehensive logging and monitoring, access controls and least privilege, change management through GitOps, incident response procedures, and automated compliance reporting. For HIPAA, we add encryption requirements, PHI access controls, BAAs, and regular security assessments. We use AWS services that are already HIPAA-eligible or SOC 2 certified and implement guardrails to prevent non-compliant configurations.

We offer flexible engagement models after initial implementation. Many clients transition to our managed services for ongoing operations, monitoring, incident response, security patching, cost optimization, and capacity planning. Others prefer knowledge transfer so their internal team can operate independently. We also provide retainer-based advisory services for architecture evolution and continuous improvement. Regardless, we deliver comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure code.
